RETURNS POLICY

At Get a Lamp we make every effort to ensure you are satisfied with every purchase you make with us.

We understand that products are ordered on the basis of their technical specifications and in order to cover a specific need. Given the technical nature of lighting products, which are very often fragile or delicate, these cannot be resold to other customers if they have been tampered with beforehand.

If you have any doubts or queries regarding a product, please contact our Customer Services Department BEFORE placing your order and we will help you find the product that best meets your needs.

If in the end, however, you need to return the product, as a European consumer you are granted a period of 14 calendar days from delivery date to request return of the product. After this period it will be assumed that all is in order and that you are satisfied with the delivery.
The right to cancellation or withdrawal cannot be exercised in the case of products manufactured or configured specifically for the customer.

The requirements for requesting return of products are as follows:



Requirements for requesting return.

  • The product must be in perfect condition and must not have been installed or used in any moment.
  • Products must be returned in their original packaging, unopened and with the manufacturer's seals intact.
  • The request for return must be made within 14 calendar days from delivery date.


To request a return you should contact our Customer Services Department (customer.service@getalamp.co.uk) providing the following details:

  • Delivery note or purchase invoice number.
  • Product code and quantity to be returned.
  • Reason for your disconformity, or for the return.
  • Contact telephone number.


Once your request has been received we will contact you to send you the Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA), which authorises the return and contains the address of our European warehouse where the article is to be sent.
This document must be printed and included in the box containing the product(s) you wish to return.
Returns that do not include the RMA document, which authorises you to return the product(s) and allows us to cross-reference the product(s) with your order, will not be accepted.

The direct transport costs of the original delivery and the return of the product(s) to our warehouse will be assumed by the customer. In some cases products must be returned to our warehouse in Germany.

In the event the return of a product is due to an error on our part, the return costs will be assumed in full by getalamp.es

Following reception of the returned product(s) these will be examined in order to ensure compliance with the aforementioned requirements and to authorise the return.

If all requirements are complied with, the cost of the product(s) will be reimbursed by the same means as the original payment was made, in other words, the same bank account number, credit/debit card or PayPal account.


Damaged, defective or incorrect products
If you receive a product that has been damaged in transport, is defective, or is incorrect (i.e. the product received does not correspond to that ordered), please contact us as soon as possible, within 7 days of order reception, using the contact form provided in our online shop or by sending an email to customer.service@getalamp.co.uk providing the following information:

  • Delivery note or purchase invoice number.
  • Product code.
  • Photographs of the box and the damaged product(s).
  • Contact telephone number.


We will contact you via email or telephone in order to offer a solution to the problem.

If the product is being returned due to an error on our part, the costs of the return will be assumed in full by getalamp.es.
